Welcome to Sitka Seamarine wildlife tours

On our wildlife tours, we customize and cater our Sitka boat tours based on the season and your interests. Captain Patrick, who was born and raised on the waters of Sitka, is knowledgeable about all the hidden spots around the area. One of the highlights of our tours is St. Lazaria Island, a local gem located about 20 miles southeast of Sitka. This treasured place is home to thousands of protected petrels, murres, puffins, auklets, eagles, falcons, gulls, and oystercatchers. In Sitka Sound, you can often see an abundance of whales, sea otters, sea lions, and seals. Additionally, the coastal transportation along the shoreline of Kruzoff Island frequently offers opportunities for viewing coastal brown bears and Sitka black-tailed deer.

The coastline of Kruzoff Island also offers opportunities to view coastal brown bears and Sitka black-tailed deer. Rates

Coastal Water Transportation is available for $300.00 per hour of run time. The run time begins when the vessel is underway to your designated drop-off and pickup locations at prearranged times. We provide safe and efficient coastal transportation from point A to point B at your preferred schedule. Our Sitka boat tours offer Marine & Coastal Wildlife Viewing priced at $170.00 per person for a 2-hour adventure. We can also customize a wildlife tour in duration based on your interests and what you most want to see and do. Please call for special packages and quotes, including lodging options!

Vessels

Patrick operates two vessels for coastal transportation, including a 2019 Allen Marine built 32' by 12' catamaran that is inspected by the United States Coast Guard. You truly ride in comfort with an onboard heated bathroom, sink, power outlets, and, most importantly, an open window design so you won't miss a thing while riding inside. There’s plenty of space for gear, equipment, and comfort. You can also enjoy the large forward deck with spacious seating at the bow of the boat. This vessel comes fully equipped with marine navigation instruments and all the required safety equipment to ensure a safe day on the water, making it ideal for Sitka boat tours and wildlife tours. His transportation vessels provide a very stable platform for a variety of water adventures.
