Sitka offers great King and Silver salmon fishing opportunities and all other salmon species in and around local hot spots in Sitka sound and  surrounding areas, including rivers, inlets and streams. Typically the salmon fishing runs May through September, with June being the most productive for kings and July, August and September good for silver's.


*Coastal Water Transportationis priced at $200.00 per hour of run time, run time starts when the vessel is underway to your drop off location and pickup location at prearranged times. We can transfer you from point A to point B safely and efficiently at the times you choose.

St. Lazaria Island is a local gem located about 20 miles southeast of Sitka and is a favorite place often visited on our tour and is home to thousands of petrels, murres, puffins, auklets, eagles, falcons, gulls and oystercatchers. Whales, sea otter, sea lions and seals are often abundant in Sitka sound. The coast line shore of Kruzoff Island often offers coastal brown bear and Sitka black tail deer viewing.

Kruzof Island is a popular destination for camping and hiking.  Mt. Edgecumbe can be reached from a hiking trail which begins at Fred's Creek on the island's eastern shore.
